Leave Corporate Greed Behind
Don't give all your money to someone else. Get paid instead.
For decades artists have been exploited by money-hungry executives at record labels and other middlemen. Creatives just trying to get their work in front of their audience, to share what they made with the world, only to be coerced into shady contracts and financial arrangements that prevent the artist from seeing a dime for the work they put in.
The time has come to put an end to this. Gone are the days where artists are required to go to the major labels in order to get their music in front of people. The tools to do this are available. Executives and middlemen would have artists believe that they are still necessary, that to be a "real" artist you HAVE to be signed to a major label. But this has never been more wrong than now.
About Me
My name is Ryan Bond. I'm a dad to a buncha kids, a software dev for about 15 years now, and a lover of many different forms of music.
I was on the piracy side of the fence back in the late 90s when it was Metallica vs. Napster, but now in my 40s, it's easier for me to see what Lars was so bent out of shape about. I've spent years watching the tech industry exploit musicians and other creatives for the things they create. MxTp is my attempt at making some of that right.
